Posts in ‘Press Releases’ chooses Bodden Partners as its Marketing Services Agency

Jun 17

New York, NY June 17, 2010 – Bodden Partners, a fully-integrated marketing communications agency, announced that it has formed a strategic relationship with, the official MLS (multiple listing services) for the international yacht brokerage industry. Yacht Council was conceived 10 years ago by the world’s leading yacht brokerage associations and is the industry’s only website dedicated to central listings marketed exclusively by qualified professionals.  The website features power and sailing yachts 40 feet and longer, a segment of the boat industry that registered more than $2 billion in sales on over the last 12 months.

The relationship breaks from the traditional agency professional services model and more closely resembles the “performance-based compensation” model, a topic of specific interest to the advertising community.  Most agencies are resisting crossing these lines due to concerns over control and decision-making, but Bodden Partners sees this differently.

“We have the benefit of employing a broad range of assets to create innovative solutions that create customers for our clients,” stated Chris Bodden, President and Executive Creative Director of Bodden Partners.  “This partnership takes our investment in the success of a client to a whole new level of involvement. It’s exciting to have a hand in the growth of such a promising company,” said Chris. “We’ve seen other agencies create this new kind of working relationship with their clients, but we hadn’t found the appropriate partner until now.”

“We’re excited to be working with Bodden Partners,” said Steven Myers, President of Yacht Council. “Their experience, range of services and fresh ideas made them an ideal choice to enhance the Yacht Council brand and make us the preferred choice of brokers and yacht buyers and sellers worldwide. Because of their capabilities they can look at the business not as a marketing opportunity but as a completely new business opportunity, including expanding our offerings into new mobile platforms by developing iPhone and iPad applications.”

Bodden Partners will be responsible for overseeing the overall branding and strategy for the account as well as the ad design and production.  Bodden’s CP Digital unit is directing the redesign of the website for increased usability, spearheading SEO (search engine optimization) for increased traffic and developing mobile applications to expand its product offerings.  The agency’s public relations division, Hamilton Public Relations, is developing and implementing communications and social media strategy for Yacht Council.

Bodden Partners recently successfully defended its Israel Tourism account following a mandatory competitive review and beta launched, a social network website and corresponding mobile application for use exclusively in entertainment venues such as Madison Square Garden, Yankee Stadium and Citifield in New York, Fenway Park in Boston and Citizens Bank Field in Philadelphia.

Bodden Partners Successfully Defends Israel Tourism Account

Mar 31

March 31, 2010 (New York, NY)—Bodden Partners, a NY-based full-service marketing communications agency, announced that it has been again selected by the Israel Ministry of Tourism to handle the country’s North and South American advertising account.

Bodden was chosen after Israel Tourism’s mandatory tender period, which included a national search and final competition among six agencies. Their work was presented to the tender committee in New York which reduced the number of contenders to three. These agencies’ work was presented in Israel to the Minister of Tourism for a final decision.

Bodden, or one of its principals, has worked on the Israel Ministry of Tourism account for almost 20 years, creating four highly regarded campaigns including; “No one belongs here more than you” and “Whatever, it’s all beautiful,” both of which ran for five years each.

The most recent campaigns were “Israel. Who Knew?” and “You’ll love Israel from the first Shalom,” each of which was successful in increasing tourism to Israel from North America. Following the Shalom campaign, travel from North America to Israel reached its highest levels ever, with 2008 and 2009 being the biggest years on record.

“It’s very simple—they (Bodden Partners) came up with the best campaign, period,” said Arie Sommer, Consul, Commissioner of Tourism, North and South America, at the Israel Ministry of Tourism.

Based on criteria from Israel, Bodden Partners used extensive research to develop unique insights into the North American traveler to ensure that the new campaign will resonate with them.

“We are delighted that our wonderful relationship will continue,” said Bodden President and Chief Creative Officer Chris Bodden. “We believe the creative is some of the best we’ve produced for any client and we’re thrilled the tender committee thought so as well. We are absolutely committed to our clients and we know we can help Israel achieve its goal of a million North American tourists annually by 2012.”

The new Israel Tourism campaign is expected to launch around the beginning of the second quarter of 2010.
